Over 20 years ago Phillip finally got to come "into town" and go to school in Show Low for the 6th grade. He says he remembers seeing me in Mrs. Mell's class and thinking...I'm going to marry that girl some day. Well years went by and we were friends but nothing ever came of it. One Sunday afternoon as I'm sitting outside of Olive Garden in Pardise Valley out walks Phillip (on the phone, I should of know I was marrying his phone and then him) but out walks Phillip and I swear in that moment I got this feeling that I was supposed to marry him. We had lost touch for a few years so it was the weirdest thing not to mention I was there with my fiance and was to be married in a month or so. I took a week off of work and did a little soul searching and called everything off and then gave Phillip a call and asked him to take me out! On our first date I laid everything out on the table as to what I was wanting and looking for and 18 months later we were married! That boy has spoiled me to death and drove me crazy the last 5 years but I sure love him! We were just saying how this last year has been the BEST year yet and can't wait for it to keep getting better! I'm so thankful our marriage is eternal and the personal choices Phil and I have made so that our sweet family can be together forever, what a blessing that is to know as a wife and a mother. I am so thankful for the father Phil is to our family and how hard he works each and every day to provide for us. Thanks Babe for the last 5 years, I heart our L.O.V.E. story...I sure feel like one lucky girl to have you by my side!!!

Can I just say Livvi ROCKED it skiing for the first time at Sunrise! Grand-dude totally hooked Livvi up and got her a private lesson and off she went! Her instructor Claudia said she had great balance and might acutally be skiing by next year. Can I just tell you we were such proud parents. I'm pretty sure we took a thousand pictures of this cute girl! Thanks Grand-dude and Grandma for making this such a special day for Liv, she sure loved it!

Christmas was so fun this year. We did so many fun things with the both of our families and it was so neat to see little Liv get so excited. I think her favorite thing was to go look at the Christmas lights at night, I have missed doing that as a family. Dylan was such a great Christmas present for our family, he's healthy, happy and oh so smiley:)

I feel sad I am so behind on my blog, we have been so busy and doing lots of fun things. I'm wishing I would of posted Dylans blessing, Halloween, Phil's Birthday, Thanksgiving Craft Day with all the cute kids and sooo much more but I'm not getting much sleep these days and I feel so behind. Dylan is oh so sweet, so smiley and just a happy little boy, we sure feel lucky he's ours.

I can't believe our sweet Dylan is already one month, actually 5 weeks I'm just a little behind! Dylan is so alert and starting to give us the sweetest smiles. He loves to be held and we love to hold him, I feel like I could hold him all day long and get nothing done. He loves to sleep on his tummy but prefers to sleep on my chest. He graduated to size 1 diapers last week, he is getting so big and growing fast he now weighs 10.7lbs! He's a sweet baby and as long as he is fed and has a clean diaper you would never know he's here. Livvi has been a huge help she loves to change diapers and feed him bottles. She is very protective if any of her cousins come to close to him, she says "it's my baby brother"!

Okay so I came downstairs this morning to sweet Liv and she says "I'm ready for school" this girl melts my heart and cracks me up!

This little babe has been nothing but sweet since he was born, I feel so blessed to have a healthy little boy and I'm so thankful everything went so well! I must say boys are an adjustment when you are used to girls. I wish someone told me to push his stuff down when changing a diaper because for the first few days I wasn't sure if I could keep up on all the laundry we were going through. I feel so lucky to be a mom, there is nothing sweeter than a sweet baby, straight from heaven that is brought into your home. Life is good!

I hope Dylan will know how lucky he is to have such a sweet BIG SISTER!

girls night out

We had one fun girls night out! I had Abby and Gracie over before they started school this week so we could have one big party and boy did we party! I don't think there is anything sweeter than hearing three little girls giggle over the most silliest things. I feel like Livvi is so lucky to have them, it's almost like they are all sisters. Liv has been going to Suni's since she was 12 weeks old, three days a week and it has been such a blessing, she has gotten so much love from them they just adore her. Between swimming, getting pedicures, eating out, having ice cream, watching movies and a little coloring these sweet girls wore me out! I sure love that I get to be their Aunt!

Oh and can I just say the LOOKS I get when I go into public with these cute girls, three girls and one soon on the way...people look at me like I'm crazy it's soo funny! It was even worse one night when I had Averi to add to the bunch, I just know people wanted to offer free birth control to me! ha!

Off to school Livvi went today, "pack pack" in all! As I was unbuckling her she says, "see ya mom" oh this girl is growing up too fast. She goes every Wednesday for a couple of hours. A few things we hope she learns is to play nice with others, manners, colors, letters, songs and I'm sure soo much more. I'm excited because I think Liv was able to get such a great teacher so it will be exciting to watch her learn and grow.

So I text Phil after I dropped Liv off and this is how our conversation went, it melted my heart:

Me: Just dropped Liv off at school, kinda sad!!! She did good!

Phil: Good! I am proud of her. Don't you just love her so much. I have been thinking a lot about how I love this age and don't want it to pass because we will look back before long and miss it when she is Abby's age (8yo). I know she's rotten but I still just love how she is learning so much and curious about everything and still has that innocent sweetness about her, you know. I love our little family and that we have a new little baby coming :) Thanks for everything ure going through to have our family babe.

Liv is soo lucky to have a daddy that just adores her and I sure feel lucky to have him by my side!

Long Days

I feel like the days are never ending around here, I am board out of my mind but I don't have the energy to do anything. For the past 7 years I've usually worked anywhere between 40-60 hours a week depending on the season and I loved it and hated it all at the same time. Now that I'm not working much I don't know what to do, partially because I don't feel good. Honestly during this pregnancy I don't think I could of worked like I did when I was pregnant with Livvi, I feel lucky that I have been able to cut my hours down so much. I must be getting old, maybe waiting to have babies in your 30's wasn't so smart? I've been baking, only because I don't know what else to do. I don't really eat my bake goods, today I threw away a couple dozen cookies that were old not to mention expensive to make and then made brownies...it passes the time, only 3 more weeks until our sweet baby boy comes, I am sooo excited! I wish he had a name, I wish Phil would agree with my names, who knows maybe he will when he sees him? I can't wait to be done being pregnant, I haven't enjoyed most of it, I should be more grateful but honestly I'm over it!

A few things Livvi has said this week:

Mom: Liv do you want to go to the store with me?
Liv: No
Mom: We are going to get chocolate chips!
Liv: Fine (with a sigh), I'll go.

She's TWO, I'm supposed to be cool and she is supposed to always want to be with me...right?

Mom: I said something to Liv in the car the other day I can't remember exactly
Liv: Mom, I heard you!

Two Handsome Cowboys

I went home for a week and I just loved it! I love driving over the hill and seeing the place where I grew up, especially in the summer because everything is so green and beautiful. I feel like it's a little piece of heaven that I get to call HOME! My parents take such pride, work so hard and it shows. Saul has been working for our family for about 20 years and it feels like he is apart of our family, he always works so hard. I was watching him and my dad plant the garden and I was thinking, "these may be the most handsome cowboys I know!". They sure work hard so our family can have fresh produce through out the year, so the cows and horses can be fed and the land can be irrigated and I'm sure...sooo much more! Thanks Saul for all you do for our family.

I need help! I have a sweet baby boy coming in 13 weeks and I still can't figure out what is cute and what my style is when it comes to BOYS. I want this sweet, simple, possibly vintage looking nursery with simple baby colors but to be honest...I don't even know what that means. I have no vision. What I do have is a white crib with a splash of pink on it and a pink chandelier. Its sad because I keep saying "it's just a boy and it doesn't really matter" but I would like to do a little something, nothing over the top. Doesn't it stink being the second child? I would know I am a second child! Just kidding mom! So...if you have any ideas or any great blogs or websites I should check out or if you just feel like coming over and doing it for me, that's okay too!

Our family...mainly me I'm sure LOVES Mexico! Phil took a guy golfing last month and he offered us his condo in Rocky Point for free, how nice is that! We were so excited to do a family trip where is was cheap, relaxing and so much fun! Livvi got to see the ocean for the first time and didn't appreciate getting her "hands dirty" when she was making pizza's and cakes in the sand. She loved getting to swim all day for four days. I swear this girl never stopped, I'm sure she jumped in the pool at least a thousand times! This is probably our last trip with just the three of us...we made so many great memories!

Summer is finally here or at least it feels like it anyway! I envision our summers going a little like this...eating popsicles, laying out by the pool, taking naps and maybe eating another popsicle. Livvi is excited to say that she is going to be a "BIG SISTER" come the first of September and she is always pointing to my tummy showing me where baby brother is. Yes a BOY! I was freaking out a little when we found out it was a boy but it has grown on us and we are sooo excited. Pictures...that is not necessary or at least until baby boy arrives. Take my word for it or just ask Phil, I'm grouchy, very out spoken, the house is a wreck and I'm not getting a lot done these days! This time around has been a lot harder but will be sooo worth it in the end!

i think livvi partied way too hard on her birthday week because we ended up going to the urgent care a couple days later...we came home with an antibiotic for the ear infection and a machine to do breathing treatments because she has rsv. poor baby i feel bad for her but she is starting to feel sooo much better. since little averi (suni's sweet baby) is so brand new and rsv is highly contagious we decided it was best for me to take the week off of work so I could stay home and tend her. i'm always up for taking a week off of work but boy have i been going crazy! not sure what to do with myself but it's nice to be home and just relax.

our little livvi bug turned two on us and i must say it made me cry. i can't believe two years with this sweet little girl has gone by so fast. we decided to take her to to zoo and she could not stop talking about the cows, all she wanted to do was see the cows! that night we met up with her aunt "nunny, abby, ce-ce (gracie) and baby (averi)" at joes farm girl. oh how livvi loves her aunt and cousins! livvi's favorite food is bacon, fries and blueberries. her favorite show is mickey mouse. she l.o.v.e.s candy, she usually wakes up asking for gum or a sucker. she does not like cake (just like her dad when he was a kid) so that is why we had a rice crispy cake! some of the cute things she is saying is: swim soup, keen up keen up everyone, lub ya and she loves to play on the "puter". she woke up from her nap on her bday and said, "it's my birffday". she sings the cutest "tinkle tinkle star" song you have ever heard and she can never get enough of the "popcorn" song. she told suni the other morning "i naughty at night night" cute but soo true. this girl has no fear, she loves so swim but please make sure you give her her space because she wants no help, she loves to jump in the pool from about 5 feet high and she loves big slides. she is so dang sweet and rotten and we just love her to death! i ask her if she is a big girl or a baby, she still wants to be a "baby" and that is fine by me!

that weekend we threw her a big party and invited some of her little friends and family. we ate jersy mike's subs, drank slushies, heated the pool to 90 degrees and jumped in the bounce house. what a great way to celebrate this sweet little girl! happy 2nd birthday livvi i sure love that i get to be your mom!

Grana's Christmas Party

Every year Grana plans a Christmas party for the entire family and we had so much fun this year, it's so cute to see all the cousins play. We had Mexican food catered which was so yum and lots of fun activities for the kids. I know Grana Great looks forward to this every year. She is so thoughtful and loves to be around all her grand kids. She is so kind to get each and every kid a gift for Christmas (I don't know how she does it) and I just hope she knows how much we love her. Now, I should know how old she is but I'm not exact, I think 83...what 83yo lets their grandson push them across a gym floor on this scooter. She is full of life and has more energy than I do! Grana thanks for such a great party!

I was so excited for Christmas this year because it was our first Christmas together as a family and I was thinking Livvi would kind of be into it. Christmas Eve we went over to Suni's and had dinner and watched a movie about the Saviors birth. We had so much fun hanging out. Christmas morning Phil brought Liv down and the first thing she noticed was her baby doll. We had so much fun opening up presents and watching all her cute expressions. After that we rushed to S.L. and got to see my parents and then did dinner with Phil's family. We had so much fun and a yummy dinner. Livvi was totally spoiled by everyone and is loving all her new toys!

Thanksgiving was nice, simple and sweet! No stress! We decided to do it at my house since Suni had just had Averi a few days before and we had such a good time. We missed Casi and her family but we all had a good time being together. My parents came over the day before and my mom and dad taught me how make pies...it was so much fun! My dad just started baking pies (don't ask my why) but we were laughing because you would of thought he had been baking pies his entire life they way he was questioning my mom! Anyways...lots of fun memories!

Averi has finally arrived!

I am sooo behind on my posts and it is probably because life has been so crazy. Suni was put on bed rest a few weeks before Averi arrived and we are happy to say everything turned out ok. I'm not sure how Suni did it emotionally and physically but she did and we are so excited that finally Averi was able to come home and join their cute little family. And as selfish as this sounds we are happy that Livvi can start going back over to "Nunny's" house when I go to work. I'm telling you it really threw Livvi off not being able to go to "Nunny's" for about two months boy was she rotten during that time. Her first day back she sobbed when she had to leave, I have a feeling she is spoiled rotten with lots of love and attention. I feel so bad I don't have any pictures of Averi but here is Abby and Gracie Nov 21, 2010 the morning Suni went in to have her c-section. They were so excited they could hardly stand it! They are goin to be the best BIG sisters ever!

Phil and I just got back from such a fun trip in Cancun, I love that place! Chips, guacamole, diet coke, a beautiful beach and finally a good, healthy husband...what more could a girl ask for! Phil started to get board but I came across "Cowboy Swagger" a book that was laying on an empty book case so I thought I'd give it a try! We did a lot of nothing but we had so much fun! For those of you that are afraid of Mexico I must say they were overly nice every where we went, we loved it! Thanks to my sweet Mom Livvi didn’t even know we were gone! She fell in love with “Butter” my moms dog named Cooper!

The night before Halloween we had my sisters and their families over for some yummy mexican food and then off to the ward party where we had live ponies, rock climb, haunted house, bounce house, a mechanical bull and lots of other activities. The kids had a blast and we sure thought Liv was such a cute Kitty Cat! Halloween night we got a sitter and off we went to see Lady Antebellum, at dinner I got a voice mail that the fire dept and police were at the house. The first thing that came to mind was that one of the kids had been hit by a car...lucky that wasn't the case. The babysitter and all the kids were locked out of the house with Livvi sleeping in the crib. Unfortunately they didn't reach us in time so they knocked the side garage door down so they could get inside. Poor Liv was awake and crying by that time but we are just glad everyone was safe! And I must say Lady A rocked, it was soo much fun!

This little girl is in NURSERY...I can't believe it! It was kind of a sad day for me! You would of thought she had been going for months, she loved it! I was thinking "you could of at least acted a little sad just for my sake" but I was happy it was a good day for her. I hear the second week is actually harder because they know they are going to get left...we will see! It's sad how fast she is growing up on us. She is constantly hitting me on the knee with her hand saying "mom, mama, mom" I love it!

The other night Phil suggested we put Livvi on Pedia Sure because she isn’t eating as well as we would like her, every meal is a struggle. I laughed inside and thought it was cute that he was concerned and said, “look at these thighs, I’m sure if she misses a few meals it won’t hurt her!” We love all her chub and think she is adorable. Today we went to the doctor to find out we are way behind on shots but that miss liv is healthy and strong. She is 50-75% weight, 50% height and 90% head, I remember that is the first thing the doctor said in the OR, wow she has a big head! Just what a mom wants to hear!

WOW…I must say my 30th Birthday ROCKED! Every year I always think I should have a birthday WEEK not a birthday day! So I usually remind Phil about a month out that it’s coming up just so he can start planning! Well I must say I totally had a birthday week. Phil took Livvi and I to the Westin and we had so much fun swimming and hanging out. He took me to my FAVORITE place to eat White Chocolate Grill and I must say WCG + Livvi= Disaster but we still had a good time hanging out as a family! Then when we got back I started packing for my surprise trip with my mom and sisters. Off we went to San Fran for three nights and we loved it! The shopping was AMAZING and such a great place to people watch. I swear I could fly out once a year just to shop at the FIVE level Nordstrom’s along with so many other stores. Such a great time being with my mom and sisters and no kids. We laughed, did a lot of eating but defiantly did enough walking that it didn’t matter what we ate, shopped and saw a lot of neat stuff! Thanks everyone for making my 30th the best!

So Liv thinks she is a BIG GIRL now and wants to go down the stairs facing forward...well this is what happens. Good thing she didn't actually fall all the way down! She has been so good with the stairs for months now but I think she saw another baby going forward. She was just yelling for me to come get her, I couldn't help but get a quick pic first.

Wow Livvi has been quite the treat lately. She has spoiled me from the day she was born because she has always just been so sweet but watch out I'm afraid those days are over. Ever since we came home from the Fourth of July she has been a nightmare! Lots of sass and lots of fits, she is starting to become best friends with the time out chair. Good things we love her! Yesterday we weren't sure what to do with ourselves so we decided to go out and take some pictures. Even though she is rotten we still love her to death and think she is adorable!

Can I just say little miss liv is a mess! Boy do we love her but I swear she is always on the go every second of the day! She is starting to show more and more of her personality and I must say she is sassy, sweet and stubborn! This girl LOVES sweets to the point where we may have to do a week of detoxing! Gosh I just love her and love the days I get to be home with her! From the moment she wakes up she starts say "Aaa-Bee", she loves to gives kisses and she is starting to be mommas little girl!

For Father's Day weekend we decided to pack up the car and head to the mountains with Suni, Mark and the girls. Boy does camping seem like a lot of work! It was so nice to get out of the heat and play in the dirt. For some reason it seemed like we got extra dirty this time but we had so much fun going on hikes, playing frisbee, shooting a little bow and arrow, making fruit loop necklaces (thanks Abs for making one for Liv), roasting marshmallows and making yummy smores! What a great weekend!

Last week us sisters had such a fun time haning out! It seems like all three of us never get together but Casi came down for the week with her boys and we had so much fun! Us three got to go out one night and shop, eat chinese food and then we went to the Killers, it was so fun to laugh together. I think Casi made us laugh in the movie when it wasn't even funny! It was so fun to get to hang out with her! She made super cute tie dye shirts for the kids...they look so cute in them! What a great week!

My sweet friend Mandy came all the way from Texas to come visit and take pictures while she was out her. We had such a good week catching up on the last five years of our lives, laughing harder than I have laughed in a LONG time and just hanging out wishing we lived closer so our kids could play together. As much as I love being a mom there are days when I just need a 20 minute break. Sweet Livvi loves to follow me EVERYWHERE I go, I don't even get a bathroom break. So lately I have been letting her feed herself because it usually gives me 20-30 minutes to get some things done. Yes the mess is huge but it make us both happy!

So Phil and I bought bikes a couple years ago and I swear we rode them at least 5 times before they started collecting dust, what a waste! So we decided to get them tuned and buy Livvi something to ride in. So here it is, our annual bike ride! Livvi loved it, it put her right to sleep!

SWIM LESSONS

Livvi is loving the water, twice a week I take her to Aqua Tots where we have a 30 minute swim lesson along with three other little "Tadpoles". Since Livvi is going to be spending a lot of time in Suni's pool this summer I thought we better get her swimming. She loves being dunked and singing all the cute little songs, I sure enjoy getting to do this with her! I have a feeling we are going to have a little mermaid on our hands!

Easter Sunday

Livvi has just starting walking here and there so we were excited to put some eggs out and see what she would do. Once she figured there was candy in the eggs she was all over it. This girl loves candy. I honestly think when she goes to Aunt Suni's house little Grace and her will sneak all the candy they can find. We had so much fun playing on the grass watching Livvi play with her easter basket. We had such a sweet day other than I had to work about 12 hours that day too. I was just glad to get a little time to spend with my family!

Today is Livvi's first Birthday, where has all the time gone! Livvi is just the sweetest little baby you will ever find. I sure have enjoyed being her mother and watching her learn and grow this past year. She is always happy and so fun to be around. She is busy busy busy, this girl is always on the go! Her favorite food is blueberries and she loves chocolate. Her favorite toy is her blender, she is getting so good at putting her shapes inside it too. She normally ends up in bed with me around midnight which is not a good thing but for the past three weeks that's what we have been doing. She is standing really well and walking around the couches but no first steps yet. Her first word was dada and mama came soon after that. She definitely knows what the word NO means and gives you a cute grin and crinkles her nose when you say it. This past Saturday we had a little birthday party for her and she totally knew it was HER DAY! We just had family over because of all the craziness in our lives right now but I must say it was just perfect! She just looked adorable! I just knew she was going to make a mess out of the cake but she didn't, I was surprised! We had so much fun hanging out with my family and Livvi sure did enjoy all the attention! I just love this girl! I love that I get to be her mom! She is just the best thing in the world and I love each and every day of it!

Livvi just had her 9 month follow up, she will be 11 months old next week but what can I say...I'm just glad we got it over with, those shots are hard on the both of us! Actually Liv is so tough she usually gives me a sad look and then she is over it. They said she was 22lbs but I swear when I pick her up she feels at least 50lbs and she is 28.75 inches long, she was 75% with height and weight. She is growing up so dang fast and I'm loving every new stage but hate that she is almost one, where does the time go?

This sweet girl is always on the go, the other day I came down the stairs and she was waitng for me half way, I had no idea she knew how to climb stairs yet. She has also been known to climb out of her high chair and stand on top of her tray, always on the go, happy and keeping things exciting, gosh I just love this girl! I feel so blessed to have her in my life. When I look at her she makes me feel like I can make it through anything! We had the best day together, lots of playing, laughing, eating, a little crying and some more laughing...this is what life is about!

Livvi and I had such a great time in Show Low over Christmas! It was so fun to be around family and friends and just take a break from all the worries of life and enjoy a week of hanging out and not worrying about what to do and where to be. Livvi LOVED all the attention she was getting. What a joy she has been in my life, I am so thankful to be her mom and get the opportunity to watch her grow! I am so thankful for my sweet sweet parents and all they do for us and such GREAT siblings! I wish we could all get together more often. 2009 was a blessing because Livvi came into our lives but I sure am hoping to put this year behind and have a fresh start for 2010!

Livvi has been standing for the past month, she is getting so good at it. Over Christmas week she had so many people cheering for her every time she would stand that I think it has helped her to stand longer. She can stand for about 20 seconds now and she just LOVES the attention she gets when she does it. The other night she stood up and me, Casi and my mom started clapping for her so she started clapping and turning her head to she could look at all of us...it was the cutest thing!

Its a tradition in our family to make RAVIOLIS and either eat them on Christmas Eve or Christmas day, they are so yummy! My mom is italian and so she has carried on that tradition and we love being in the kitchen to help.

I was so excited to get decorations for our tree this year, I had such a fun time doing it! The only way I could get her to sit still by the tree was to put her on top of the presents.

Ok so I was wanting to get Livvi's picture with Santa but never did because I wasn't sure if she was going to freak out! When I was pulling into my driveway I saw my neighbor dressed as Santa so I jumped out and asked if we could get a picture. The only thing is this Santa came all the way from India, lol!

Livvi is ALWAYS on the go, I swear she never stops! After church today I could of sworn I ran a marathon, sometimes I wonder why I even go because I feel like I don't hear a thing. And I laugh to myself because we only have one baby, I can't imagine the stress when we have a few more. But I must say it is TOTALLY worth it!

I don't know why it took us so long to get Livvi a highchair but we finally did and now I am wishing we would of done that so much sooner! She just loves to sit there and make a mess. Its so fun to see her really focus on grabbing her food and trying SO hard to get it in her mouth. She is so not into her veggies and that makes me sad because I worked so hard on making my own baby food so it would be all natural but she loves apple sauce, peaches, puffs, licorice (oh what a mess), gummy worms and I'm sure all the candy in the world if I would give it to her! Its so fun to see the look on her face when she gets a taste of sugar!

So I have to admit that I am having a hard time with how fast Livvi is growing up! The other day someone asked me how old she was and I lied, I know that is horrible but for some reason I just couldn't say 7 months, that just sounds way to old! But what a fun stage she is at, she is pulling herself up, crawling and sitting up...this girl is always on the go! The other day I heard her crying so I went up stairs and it was the cutest thing ever...her little head was peeking over the crib, as frustrating as it is I just think it is so cute! I just love this girl so much, she is just so happy and sweet pretty much all of the time. She is so curious and is always checking people out. She can really stare you down if you have white hair, she prefers that you keep your distance! Its sad and funny all at the same time.

I thought it would be so fun to get the family together and do a campout, we had so much dang fun I almost didn't want to come home! I sure hope we can make this an annual tradition! The weather was great, we played lots of games, ate too much yummy food and the kids had a blast being able to roam around and explore things they had never seen. It was so fun to sit around the camp fire and laugh and talk together as a family, what great memories we made!!!

Well last night Phil and Livvi headed to the grocery store while I was still at work. Suni called me at work and I told her I was in a middle of a case and couldn't talk. She said not to scare you but Livvi had fallen and she is bleeding really bad. Oh my gosh I just panicked...my baby was bleeding! Phil couldn't get a hold of me so he called Suni and she told him to take her to the urgent care. I guess Phil was carrying her around and set her in the car seat on top of the shopping cart to grab something and then all of a sudden he heard this loud smack! Livvi had fallen about 5ft right on her poor little face and started bleeding out of her nose and mouth. Phil rushed her to the urgent care and the doctor looked at her for maybe 5 minutes and said she was fine...what, who are you??? We didn't feel comfortable with the care that we recieved so we went home and gave her a blessing and headed for the ER at Desert Hospital. They got us in quick and she got a CT of her head and then we waited 3 long hours with the most nasty, smelly people you could ever find. Where do these people come from??? Anyway all is good, the CT looked good and off we went 4.5 hours later. What a blessing! Thanks for all the prayers and fasting we really appreciate it!

So I have been trying to introduce some new foods to Livvi now that she is 6 months and I must say she doesn't want anything to do with it. As you can see she is not starving so I am not too worried for now. She has been sleeping through the night since she was 7 weeks, yeah I know I totally lucked out, but for now I am just going to wait a little longer and then try it again. It was important to me to make all her food. So thanks to my mom and her garden that is where I have been getting all my veggies. Thanks to my BEABA baby cook from Williams Sonoma it sure makes it a lot easier! My mom did the same thing for us kids so I feel like I should try and carry that on.

Livvi and I had such a good day today. I have had the past two days off and we haven't done anything but hang out. It's kinda nice not to always be loading her in car and feeling like we are always on the go. Sometime I feel like that's all we do and I feel so guilty, like I am missing out and not giving her enough attention. We all know she is getting plenty of attention, especially from her sweet cousins Abby and Gracie. Livvi goes to Sunis house two times a week while I work, it is so nice to have family! She couldn't be in a better home and they just adore her over there! Thanks Suni for all you do! Today Livvi fed herself the bottle, to be honest I was a little sad. I felt like gosh she doesn't even need me to feed her anymore! (Dang it I went to put the pic of Livvi feeding herself and I downloaded them but I can't find it and it deleted it off my camera, o'well!) I seriously always have computer issues!

So for Mothers Day, Phil surprised me with a 2 night stay in Scottsdale. We had so much fun! Livvi got to go swimming for the first time and she LOVED it! I was worried if 10 weeks was too young to be swimming but I figured we better try it...I was so excited to see if she going to like it or not. I know she likes her tubbies so I figured she would like it! The water was a little cold, so at first she gave us a few funny faces but once she got used to it she was full of smiles! We went again today at Suni's pool and still no cries...so I think we are going to have a swimmer on our hands!

Today was such a special day. I think when Livvi woke up she knew it was her day because she couldn't stop smiling! I was so excited to get her dressed because my mom saved my blessing dress, blanket and hand crochet booties all these years so that is what Livvi got to wear. I thought that was so neat of my mom to do that, so special! Oh there was even a bonnet too, but we decided to go with the flower! Its funny to see how styles have changed in 29 years! Phil did such a wonderful job, it was his very first blessing! I was so proud of him! I've been asking him lately if he was getting nervous and he would say "not really". But last night I asked and he said, "YES"!!! You couldn't tell he did such a great job! What a sweet day it was! After the blessing we had lots of family and friends come over to eat some yummie mexican food, we had such a great time just hanging out and catching up! I wish we all got together more often, it was so fun! I think its just too much work. I couldn't of done it with out my sisters! Suni had me lined out in the kitchen with all the yummie recipes...there's no way I could of done it with out her and Casi was outside helping me with my lawn the night before! I have the best sisters in the world...where would I be without them! Where would I be with out my little Livvi, she is just sweet thru and thru! When I look at her she makes me want to be a better person! What a special day!

Our First Trip to Show Low

Livvi and I went to Show Low a couple weeks ago and had such a good time!I was wondering how Livvi would do with the drive and she was perfect, she never made a peep the entire drive. I can't believe how good of a baby she is, she is just so sweet! It was so fun to go home and just hang out with my parents, Sean & Mel and Casi and the boys! Dax had his first birthday and he was too cute, he just loved his cake! He is the sweetest little boy! While we were up there Livvi rolled over...twice for the firt time @ 7 weeks! She was on her tummy and rolled to her back, I couldn't believe it! It's always nice to go home, everytime I go up there I wonder why we don't go more often! Thanks mom and dad, there's no place like home!!!

First Shot

So I woke up this morning at 6:30 and felt like I could concur the world, I finally got 5 hours of sleep STRAIGHT! Thanks Phil for getting up with Livvi at 3:30! Gosh this is the best I have felt in a long time! Before I had Livvi if I didn't get 8 hours I felt exhausted! Boy how life changes! So today we had our one month check up along with a shot...yuck! I think the shot was a lot harder on me than it was on Livvi. She is so tough (she must take after her mother) she cried for like 2 seconds, looked at me with the saddest face and then was totally fine. She is just so dang sweet, she truly has been the best baby! So Livvi weighs 9lbs. and let me just tell ya this girl loves to eat! We are so happy she is finally gaining weight. I think the days of me worrying about her weight are over! She grew a whole 1.75 inches so she is now 21.75 inches tall, she is in the 75%, who knows where she is getting her height from??? The doctor said she is just perfect and we feel the exact same way!

It seems like the days go by so fast, too fast! I can't believe she is a month old. What a joy it has been! I have never felt so fulfilled in my life, its a wonderful feeling!

We got Livvi's pictures taken when she was ten days old and she was perfect through the entire thing. We were able to move her in different positions, change her outfits and bows and she slept through the entire thing! We were hoping to get a few with her eyes open but she pretty much sleeps most of the time unless she is hungry. I would love to post all the pictures cause they are all my favorite but I thought I better not! She sure has been such a sweet joy, I feel so blessed! There truly is no greater love than a mothers love. Its amazing how it immediately comes over you when you hear their first sweet cry.

Our lil Livvi Grace is finally here

So everyone has been telling me...now that I have become a mom I need to start blogging! Well I guess I will give it a shot! I'm not very good on the computer, poor Phil is always helping me. Anways I was induced on Feb 28 and tried so hard to have her come naturally for 50 hours but who's counting...right?!? I guess us Seymore girls are meant to have c-sections! And boy am I glad that I did! It has been such an easy recovery, I can't believe how good I have been feeling! I guess when you have such a sweet lil girl to wake up to, crying or no crying it makes all the aches and pains go away. She finally came on March 2, 2009 at 10:36am. She weighed 7.86lbs and was 20in long. What an amazing experience! I feel so blessed to be able to be a mom, it has been the sweetest thing I have ever experienced! Phil has been such a good daddy, I always knew he would be. I took a total of 14 weeks off and I can't believe how fast it's going by, the thought of going back to work makes me so sad! So I'm trying to enjoy every second I have! My family has been so sweet and helpful, I couldn't of done it with out them! I've got a great mom and two wonderful sisters that are amazing parents that I can turn to for advice, so thanks you guys!
